Who Are We?

Inspired by the belief that “there are no boundaries to love” and actively engaging in initiatives for “the most abandoned of this world and the next,” we, the Helpers, offer our presence to those searching for freedom and meaning in their lives.
Our institute was founded in Paris in 1856 by Eugénie Smet, Blessed Mary of Providence.
